Shipping & Returns


If we receive your order by noon Pacific Standard Time, we do our best to have it shipped out that day.  We have found that the most efficient way to ship our tile is via USPS using Medium flat rate boxes which accommodate up to 10 sheets of our glass tile. If you have more than 20 sheets of tile and/or a combination of products, it may be more cost effective to ship via UPS or Fedex. We will try to catch those before they go out and give you the option, but we also welcome requests to shop carriers. Please note any special requests upon placing your order.

*Please note that if we can ship it out cheaper than what is quoted on the website (via envelope, etc) we will refund any overages!  We here at Tessera Glass / Copper Cat Studio are working mosaic artists, so we understand the importance of getting the best shipping rate on these heavy products!


Returns Policy 

We want you to be completely satisfied with your order, so please contact us with any questions or concerns. We are glad to answer any questions or send samples prior to your purchase.

*We strongly recommend ordering tile samples prior to large orders. There will be a 25% restocking fee on all returned orders 20 square feet and over. 

* All returns require RMA # (Return Materials Authorization Number) Call (775) 453-0753 to obtain number that needs to be on outside of box.

* All returns must be received within 30 days of delivery.

* Returns will be credited when received if they arrive: 

(a) In like new condition. Senders responsibility to pack and ship in safe manner. 

(b) Refund will be for cost of material only and not shipping costs. A deduction will be made for credit card processing and other fees incurred by us for the transaction.

*Special Orders, Custom Orders and Discontinued Items are non-refundable.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
